Ballroom Bliss - Policies

It is our desire to make Ballroom Bliss group dance classes and private lessons a welcoming and fun experience for all students. While we understand the nature of changing schedules, we are a business, and as such need to have a few guidelines regarding our classes/lessons.


Group Classes:

Up to four students must be registered to hold a group class session, therefore, pre-registration and pre-payment is required for all group classes. If we do not have enough students registered for a group class, your tuition payment will be refunded in full.

Group class tuition is refundable with a cancellation notice of one week prior to the beginning of the session. Each session lasts one month unless otherwise specified. Students who join after the session has begun are eligible to pay a prorated amount. Tuition per session must be paid in full prior to the start of the session. We do not offer make-up classes in the event a student misses a class due to sickness or schedule conflict.

In the event that a teacher becomes ill or temporarily indisposed, Ballroom Bliss reserves the right to cancel the class or substitute another instructor for his or her class. A make-up class will be scheduled if Ballroom Bliss cancels class due to sickness or inclement weather. During severe inclement weather It is advisable to confirm if class will be held by checking our website or calling 508-760-4071 in advance.


Private Lessons:

All private lesson appointments are subject to our 24 hour cancellation policy. The student will be charged for a missed lesson unless the studio is notified 24 hours in advance. Purchases of lesson packages are final. There are no refunds after the series of private lessons has started.


Corporate Bookings:
Including demonstrations, performances, hosting a dance, teaching a large corporate groups: cancellations greater than 30 days there is no penalty, 15-30 days from event 50% of contracted price will be required, and under 15 days, full contracted price will be paid to Ballroom Bliss.


Holidays:
There are no group classes on all major Massachussetts holidays, unless otherwise noted. Private lessons continue as usual, unless otherwise arranged.
